The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Friday released a report warning that ISIS has the ability to print fake Syrian passports.
According to the report ISIS has access to Syrian government passport printing machines and blank passports, raising the possibility the travel documents could be faked.
ISIS militants could potentially use the documents to travel abroad.
The report added that there was also concern because the militant group had access to biographical and fingerprint data on Syrian citizens, increasing the chances of identity theft.
A Syrian passport was found near the body of one of the suicide bombers who attacked the Stade the France in Paris November 13th.
French authorities say the passport was a fake.
